A lifetime ago I worked as an auto mechanic and still keep a full tool chest in case of something goes wrong. There are a number of shops and one Honda dealership in the Asheville area. Organic Mechanic stood out based on reviews so I thought I would have have them start with an inspection of the entire 2003 element rather than just having the rear struts and shocks. Not only did they find and document several issues, but they also took photos to show me what was needing repair. The gave me an estimate to the penny and revised it several ties until we were in agreement. The repairs were completed within a reasonable amount of time. I was very pleased.

First time using this shop and I was very impressed. Communication was fantastic, via text and phone calls. No guessing where your car is in the queue which I really appreciated. They did a thorough once over on the entire car which is now 10 years old, which I found helpful. They found the problem quickly for the check engine notification, something that my prior auto repair shop didn’t bother to do. I’ve found my new shop! Highly recommended. Thank you to Matt for being awesome.

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Had my Jeep diagnosed and repaired within a couple days, which I was very impressed with. My 4WD went out and needed new brakes. I was kept informed in detail the whole process. Highly recommend!

I have been aware of the Organic Mechanic repair facility for a number of years and this was my first experience with them today. I took the vehicle in for a few minor issues I wanted a second opinion on. I had trained and worked as an auto mechanic years ago, and since this is my daily driver, I wanted to be sure I hadn’t missed anything. So they did a very thorough inspection of the vehicle which took around an hour and a half. It also included photos of the underside of my Element’s components, which without a lift, can easily be missed. So they confirmed a few issues and pointed out a couple I had missed. And now I can plan to go through my 23 year old Element with a fine tooth comb fixing issues a BEFORE they break! Matt was courteous as was Joe behind the desk and what really stood out to me was just how “”Chill” this place is. VERY clean waiting room AND bathroom- wheelchair ready too. The service charge was reasonable and complete. Several local coffee shops and cafes within walking distance too. *If every vehicle in NC were this well inspected, there might be fewer accidents.

Awesome staff and proffesional mechanics whom treat my 2005 VW Jetta with care and kindness. They are highly recommended by me and are reasonably priced.
